Cold towels, water and beverages included. One flat price for the whole group, not per person. Excludes the official Angkor park pass, bought at the ticket office.
Nothing to pay now. Reserving just holds your date on the calendar. You pay cash to your guide and driver on the day, in US dollars or riel.
$6.25 of this booking goes to village schools & clean water
That 5% comes out of what your guide and driver earn, not added on top of your price. They give it because Siem Reap is home, and it is part of how a private local guide still costs you less than the big operators. The rest goes straight to them, no middleman. We are new, so the first donation has not gone out yet. When it does, we publish what was given and to whom.
Meet the community
Kampong Khleang is the largest of the floating villages and one of the least touristy. Stilt houses on tall legs, boats where you would expect streets, and people who fish and live their whole lives on the water. In the wet season a small paddle boat takes you through the flooded forest, rowed by local women who know it.
Or Kompong Phluk, if you prefer
Kompong Phluk is the closer option, about 45 minutes from town, known for its towering stilt houses and the flooded mangrove forest you drift through by paddle boat. It sees more visitors than Kampong Khleang but takes less of your day. Same tour, same price, just tell us which one when you book, or let your guide pick based on the season.

5% of this booking is set aside for a village school or clean-water project in the Siem Reap countryside. We're new, and the first donation hasn't gone out yet. When it does, we'll publish what was given and to whom, right here.

Yes. We take you to a working village, Kampong Khleang or Kompong Phluk, where people live their whole lives on the water, and 5% of your booking is set aside for village schools and clean water around Siem Reap.
Which floating village do you visit, Kampong Khleang or Kompong Phluk?
Your choice, same price either way. Kampong Khleang is bigger and further out, so it sees fewer tourists. Kompong Phluk is closer to Siem Reap with a famous flooded forest. Unsure? Tell us your dates and your guide will recommend one based on water levels and crowds.
How much is the village visit?
$85 solo, $125 by private tuk-tuk (1 to 3 guests), $145 by private A/C SUV (1 to 4 guests) or $180 by private A/C minivan (5 to 6 guests). Same price for Kampong Khleang or Kompong Phluk.
Can I combine it with the temples?
Yes. Many guests pair a half-day village visit with a temple day. Ask us and we'll plan it around you.
