Go Siem Reap Locals is a family-run team of Ministry-certified guides from Siem Reap. Because we aren't on TripAdvisor or any booking site, no commission comes out of what you pay. That's how we can put 5% of every booking toward village schools and clean water.
His story
Sitha has been a Siem Reap tour guide for more than ten years. He's licensed by Cambodia's Ministry of Tourism and guides in English. That's a decade spent in the same temples most visitors only see once.
His favourites are Angkor Wat, Bayon and Ta Prohm. He knows how each one changes through the day and where to find good light and a quiet corner. What he likes most is what the signboards leave out, like the history behind a carving or why a gate faces the way it does. He still finds new ones.
Because he takes one private group at a time, the day goes at your pace.

We believe no donation is too small. Most of the time the kids are so happy and grateful to get them.
